Frequently asked questions
Where do we import our plants from?
🌍All our plants are imported from Thailand. We only bring in a small shipment at a time. Each plant is individually selected to ensure they are of the best quality/health.
Where is Plantopia located?
We are located in Delta, British Columbia.
How do I care for my new plant?

How does local delivery work?
Once an order is received, we will reach out to you via the phone number provided within 24 hours and arrange for the best time to deliver. We usually are able to get the plants to your door within 48 hours (this might vary depending on your availability). We sometimes deliver on weekends.
How long does it take for me to receive my order?
We usually ship within 24-48 hours once an order is received. Shipping is faster within BC and neighboring Provinces (arriving 2-3 days). It takes a little longer if you are located on the East Coast (arriving 4-6 days).
Am I getting the exact item in the pictures?
Yes, you get the exact item shown in the pictures. No guessing game.
Can plant(s) be shipped in colder weather?
Yes, it is perfectly safe to ship plant(s) as long as it's not below freezing. We check the destination's temperature and condition before shipping out every order. If needed, we add extra layers/paddings for insulation and protection. Most of our plants arrive in excellent condition. Can I add item(s) to my existing order?
If you have placed an order and it has not been shipped, you can add item(s) to this existing order. This will save you the additional shipping cost. You can either:
- Place a new order for the additional item(s) and select "pick up" at check out, this will bypass the shipping fee for the additional order.
- Alternatively, you can reach out to us and let us know what you want to add. We will manually adjust the order on our end and send you instructions for payment.
Can I split payment for an order into partial different payment methods?
Yes you can. Proceed with your order and select "manual payment" at check out. You can then connect with us or we will reach out to you to assist with the split payment methods of your choice.
Do we ship orders during Canada Post strike?
Yes, business as usual for us during the strike. We ship via UPS or Purolator. Packages arrive just as quickly.
What if I have a question that is not in the FAQ?
